Our tips for an all-round successful Easter weekend for young and old:

-Visit our Waging farmers’ market on Holy Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
-Take a leisurely hike along the beautiful lakeside path from Tengling via Tettenhausen and back via Bicheln, and enjoy the first warm rays of sunshine.
-Visit the Traumwerkporsche in Anger (Porsche and toy museum with a unique railway exhibition).
-Visit the Georgiritt (one of the largest and most beautiful horse pilgrimages) in Traunstein on Easter Monday. It starts at 9:30 a.m. at the town square with the sword dance. The dance symbolizes the victory of spring over winter.
-Visit the Salzburg Zoo and marvel at large and small animals.
-Take a boat trip to Fraueninsel from Gstadt and back. Explore the beautiful Fraueninsel in spring, browse the small, charming shops and artists’ workshops.
